Frequently Asked Questions About Payroll and Global Payroll Solutions.

Q: “Can’t I just go to one of those office superstores and buy a computer program and I can do the payroll myself?”
A: Sure you can, but YOU are still doing payroll all by yourself and you are accepting all the responsibilities of paying the payroll every pay period including when you go on vacation or God forbid, are out sick. You have to remember to make your tax deposits on time, you have to deal with all of the tax agencies and maybe the child support agencies.  You also have to deal with the annual work’s compensation insurance audit.  Not only that, do you really want to stay up on all the changes being constantly thrown at employers?  Last, but certainly not least, are you able to make direct deposits to your employee’s bank accounts?

Q: “My employees have really gotten used to having their checks deposited directly in their personal bank accounts.  Can you do that, too?”
A: Yes we can!  As a matter of fact we can deposit monies in different accounts in different banks for an employee at no additional cost to you.

Q: “Currently, I’m going to the bank to make my withholding deposits to the state and feds, will I still be doing that?”
A: No, you won’t. We will file all forms and transfer funds to the appropriate agencies for you.

Q: “Do I have to pay my employees on a Friday?”
A: Absolutely not!  You select the day you want to pay your employees and we make sure payroll is delivered correctly and on-time.

Q: “Do I have to pay my employees weekly?”
A: No.  You select the frequency of payroll.  Weekly.  Bi-Weekly. Monthly.  It’s your call.

Q: “You promote that your payroll service is guaranteed.  How so?”
A: Global Payroll employees are bonded.  We deliver your payroll when we say we will or we’ll personally deliver it to you!  We accept all responsibility for all timely filings and payments.

 

 

Q: “We all know how regular mail delivery can be, can I get my payroll sent FedEx or UPS?”
A: Yes.  However, FedEx, UPS, etc. are not included in our pricing.  Should you desire those services they are the only additional charges you’ll see from Global Payroll Solutions.

Q: “I know you provide quarterly reports to me at no charge, but don’t you charge for preparation of W-2s at the end of the year?”
A: No, we don’t.  It’s all part of our service.

Q: “C’mon, there’s got to be some hassle to converting over to Global Payroll Solutions?”
A: No way!  All we’ll need to start are a few forms signed and your year to date (YTD) payroll information.  We’ll be able to prepare a payroll drawn on your account.  Bear in mind, though, that there is some paperwork that needs to be filed and accepted by the government, and that process could take up to two weeks to finalize, as does the acceptance of direct deposit by most banks.

Q:  “I’ve been down this road before, what are the real charges?  How much for the W-2 forms, the quarterly tax returns, the copies for my accountant and how much to mail payroll to me?”
A: Beyond your weekly fee, which we deduct when we prepare your payroll, there are NO other fees!  No mailing fee.  No W-2 form fee and certainly no fees for copies.

The only optional fee you might pay is if you choose a premium delivery service (FedEx, DHL, etc.).  Should you desire to have your payroll delivered by one of them, you would be charged the cost of the service only.  The rate schedule you are quoted is all inclusive.
